With the official start of summer right around the corner, now is the time to start planning for the tenth annual Safe + Sound Week which is being held August 10-16, 2026. This event is sponsored by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in partnership with other safety organizations including the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the National Safety Council (NSC), and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).
Safe + Sound week recognizes the accomplishments of workplace health and safety programs and raises awareness about the value of them being proactive. Organizations are encouraged to hold events and activities that highlight their safety program and identify opportunities for new safety initiatives.
Organizations of all sizes and industries are encouraged to participate through activities ranging from safety training and emergency drills to interactive games and employee engagement initiatives. Safety Partners has helped clients create memorable and impactful Safe + Sound Week events that reinforce safety awareness while fostering collaboration across teams.
Whether you’re looking to launch a new safety initiative or energize an existing program, Safe + Sound Week offers a valuable opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to workplace health and safety.
